I am a 4th generation American, like many Americans I have a mixed European ancestry. I am 6 feet tall (183 cm), weight= 156 lbs. (171 Kg) = trim fit and healthy. I am confident and masculine, but I am kind and attentive too. I like a good sense of humor, and laughter is not only fun but also healthy. I was a single parent for many years. I supported my daughter by myself and raised her to adulthood. I am highly educated (earned doctorate degree), served as a US academic ambassador to foreign countries (involved speaking to community groups, business people and universities). I am now semi-retired and live alone in the Palm Desert area of southern California. I like to workout at the gym 5 days a week. Have been known to play a little golf, table tennis and I like a little dancing. A poet said, "The Greatest happiness is being in love with someone and knowing you are loved." I desire to date, and see where it leads. I want to share wonderful experiences, intimacy, deep affection, mutual respect and care. Ideally I am seeking to find a reasonably petite, loving, pretty, kind, interesting woman to have fun, share life and Great Happiness with me (smile).
