Growing up I watched my mom set the table every evening like it mattered. It did and that's probably where all of this started. Home has always been the most important place for me, not as a concept but in practice. The smell of something cooking, a door that opens and someone's actually happy to see you, Sunday mornings that belong to nobody but us. That's the life I'm building toward and I'm not embarrassed to say it out loud. I work, I have my own world and my own opinions. But at the end of the day what genuinely excites me is the idea of a family. A real one, warm and ours.
